Program Description
Cedars-Sinai — tied #1 hospital in California — offers a paid 1-year new graduate RN residency with ANCC PTAP accreditation with distinction, the highest recognition awarded by the program. The hospital holds six consecutive Magnet designations. Approximately three cohorts are offered per year. The program includes one week of general orientation, an 8-week (24-shift) precepted clinical orientation, and 13 didactic workshops spread throughout the year. New grads select their top two unit preferences at application. Pay: BSN $50.00/hr, ADN $48.50/hr, MSN $51.50/hr, plus shift differentials. Email NewGradInfo@cshs.org for upcoming cohort dates.
Requirements
Active California RN license required by application date (no interim permits). Less than 9 months paid RN experience at application date. Minimum 3.0 nursing GPA. Accredited nursing degree (ADN, BSN, or MSN) obtained within last 12 months. BLS and/or ACLS as required by specialty unit. Resume, personal statement (2 pages max), transcripts, and two letters of recommendation required.
