1. Who We Are

NewGradNurse ("we", "us", or "our") operates newgradnurse.com, a job and residency program aggregator for newly licensed registered nurses in California. Questions about this policy can be directed to hello@newgradnurse.com.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Email address and password when you create an account, or your email and profile name when you choose Google sign-in
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe (we never store card numbers)
• Job application status and notes you enter into your dashboard
• Listings you save or bookmark

Information collected automatically:

• Browser type and device information
• Public page visits and aggregated traffic information through Vercel Web Analytics
• For signed-in accounts, listing views, employer-link clicks, saves, and application-status changes, linked to your account to understand engagement and improve support. Authorized administrators can see these actions. We do not track activity on employer websites or whether you complete an application. These activity events are retained for up to 90 days, with daily cleanup
• Request metadata used by our hosting and authentication providers for security

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the NewGradNurse service
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To send job alert emails you have opted into
• To improve the website and add new features
• To comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider
• Stripe — our payment processor. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data
• Vercel — our hosting and privacy-focused, cookie-free web analytics provider. Analytics exclude account/admin pages and URL query parameters
• Google — an optional sign-in provider if you choose Continue with Google
• Resend — our transactional email delivery provider
• Law enforcement or government agencies when required by law

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@newgradnurse.com.

6. Cookies

We use necessary cookies for authentication (to keep you logged in). Vercel Web Analytics does not use tracking cookies. We do not use advertising trackers. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect site functionality.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure third-party infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link
